Free Time for the rest of the day. Dinner choices abound—bring and cook in the kitchen, go to Port Townsend for a dinner out, go to the restaurant on campus. Adventurous souls can hike, walk the beach, bike (if you bring one and weather cooperates).

Travel Details
Fort Worden is located in Port Townsend, Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula.
It’s an easy two hour trip from Seattle and three hours from Vancouver, B.C.
Be sure to take in the sights along the way. If you’re coming from the north, check out La Conner or Whidbey Island. Take a side trip to Mt. Baker National Forest. From the south, experience the scenic Highway 101 route from Olympia or Tacoma. Or hop on the Seattle ferry and drive through coastal towns such as Poulsbo and Port Gamble. Whichever way you get here, make your journey as memorable as your visit.

Located less than two miles from downtown Port Townsend, Fort Worden is easily accessible for both locals and visitors.
Housing
Fort Worden is a gorgeous, Victorian-era, restored military base in Port Townsend overlooking Puget Sound. We're staying in The Reunion House, a 14 bedroom house with a full kitchen and 2 living rooms (one for connection and one for quiet space). There are Queen and Twin bedrooms available (first come, first served).

Food Allergies
Our house has a full kitchen. You're welcome to bring anything to prepare and store there. If you have a life-threatening allergy or condition, please let us know so we can ask others to exclude or confine that ingredient.
Menu Details
Wholesome breakfasts Saturday and Sunday featuring yogurt parfaits, fruit, granola, coffee and tea. Wholesome lunch Saturday featuring sandwiches, soup and salad. Dinner Saturday night will be on your own.
To Bring
Bring a journal, comfy, stretchy clothes to dance in and a warm jacket. Any special foods or drinks you'd like. Any special pillows or bedding (standard bedding is provided). A journal and pen. A water bottle. Your 2017 paper calendar if you used one. A yoga mat. And, most importantly, your authentic and open self.
To Do on your drive over: be thinking about the themes in your life and some words that might summarize your recent life lessons. This is preparation for the Word of the Year activity on Saturday.
To Leave at Home
Please leave pets and alcohol at home. We're requesting that our home together is an alcohol-free zone. Our minds and bodies speak clearest to us when we're fully present and our intention is to deepen the communication you have between your body, mind and soul.

Retreat Terms & Conditions
Because of the intimate size of this event, no refunds are available.
If you must cancel your participation, you may transfer your spot to someone else for free if done by January 10, 2018. After that date, an administrative fee of $50 will apply.
